Members and non-members have the opportunity to rent a horse-drawn carriage and ride in the annual Spring Fiesta Parade.
The Spring Fiesta's annual horse-drawn carriage parade rolls through the historic Vieux Carré. The Queen and King and their attendants, in full Court dress ,and lovely ladies and gentlemen in stylish spring attire, give flowers to onlookers as the parade winds to the Cotillion Gala for "A Night in Old New Orleans."
It is necessary for parade participants to purchase 250 no-thorn flowers to be handed out, not thrown, to parade-goers.
Carriages line up and board at the New Orleans Spring Fiesta Townhouse, located at 826 St. Ann St., at 1:30 pm to prepare for the parade starting at 2:00 pm.
Attire: Elegant Spring attire to rival Ascot and the Kentucky Derby.
